Chapter 15

We went up together and this was his first time entering my unit. He looked around and sat on the sofa.

“I like your apartment.” He said as I grabbed a glass of water.

“It’s cozy.”

“Are you sure you want me to stay here?” He asked and he turned to me.

“If you wanna go, feel free.” I said, avoiding his eyes. I drank all my water and put it in the sink.

“I was surprised that you want me to stay.” He said and I was surprised at myself for asking him. Since when have I become so needy?

“I have my brother’s extra clothes here. You can take a shower.” I said as I walked to my room. I grabbed my brother’s hoodie, sweatpants and extra underwear.

I walked to the living room and found Ares looking out the window.
