Chapter 17

I woke up so sore, and my whole body ached. I turned to see Ares still sleeping, and I checked the time really quickly. It’s 7 am, and I still have time because Grace will take care of the morning shift for me.

I got off the bed, and I couldn’t even walk properly. I walked to the bathroom and jumped into the shower. I could still feel him on my skin, and I could still smell him everywhere, even though I already wash.

I dried my hair and my body. I put on a robe as I chose my outfit for today. I grabbed my white tee and jeans. I put my clothes on and then started to do my make-up.

I made coffee and continued to do my hair. After going around the house, Ares is still sleeping. He didn’t even move to change his position.

I grabbed my phone and put it in my bag. I checked the time, and it’s already 8.23, so I have to go.
