Chapter 21. Consequences

Stacey's POV

Everything happened so fast.

I don't even know how to process it again.

Yul is still wearing a hospital gown and has a mark on his hand from a syringe.

"Yes..." I answered him while looking my eyes away.

It's suffocating right now, I can't feel my heart beating. I don't know what to say anymore.

I can't afford to see him gloomy. He's the only person who's making effort to make me happy and brighten my day.

Oh, Cygnus... his eyes were starting to form a cloud, where tears are trying to escape. He looked me in the eyes like he despise me.

But I know he doesn't...

I believe.

"And who are you to ask if she's married or what? Her boyfriend?!" Yul asked.

"Could you shut up for a while? I don't need your questions," Cygnus countered.

He held both of my hands, while his tears began to flow. Little by little, it's cracking my heart.
