Chapter 13
Brielle’s POV
I was walking back home and someone kept following me. I know who it is, and I learned that even if I tell him to turn back, he won’t do it. He has been bugging me the whole day, but somehow I can’t tell him off. I feel strange. I can’t explain it, but when I look into his eyes, my mind momentarily goes blank, and I forget what I want to say or how I feel.
I was approaching where I live, and I didn’t want him to see where I was lying, so I turned back to face him. He stopped in his tracks. He was startled and tried to pretend that he was not following me, but I caught him.
“I wasn’t following you. We just happened to be headed in the same direction, okay?” he says in his defense. I scoffed and folded my arms to my chest.
“Oh really? And where exactly are you headed?”
“Me? I..uh... I am-” he stammered, probably trying to come up with a lie.
