Cara's POV

Rollins walked into the bathroom, a towel tied around his waist. I wonder how a being could look sexy in just anything.

"Rollins," I called from the bed.

"Yeah?"

I bit my lips, unable to look away from his beautiful body. I should get used to it by now, but it was the kind of thing you could never get used to.

"Would it be okay if I asked Teo to teach me how to... fight?"

He turned to me, staring at me like I had gone crazy. "There would be no such thing."

"I want to be able to protect myself the best humanly possible."

"No, I am strong enough to protect the both of us; you don't need to go for training lessons."

"Why?" I asked, annoyed.

"Because you would get hurt; I don't want that."

"I can take a few bruises."

"No, not bruises - broken bones; can you take that?" He asked, staring at me challengingly.

"If I say yes, would you let me go?"

"No"

"Then I would go witho
