Chapter 49

The morning after the  shocking night, I rescheduled my meeting and I didn't have anywhere else to go without first knowing how Chris was doing, Jude had promised to find out, however what seems to take him so long from bringing news for me.

"Sophia!!" .

Speak of the devil, he walked right into the mansion, as I rush down to meet with him..

"What's up, any news!". I asked..

"Yeah. Chris has been taken to the city hospital, and his recovering". 

He lowered his head.  And walk to the couch and sitting down..

I sensed something strange and verge ahead to ask him.

"Is that all, Any other news, does he finally remember his past life?" I asked him again..

Jude goes quiet, he didn't have to tell me anything else, for me to understand the meaning of his silence.

Of cause, Chris hasn't remembered his past life, however who was those men that almost had him killed last night..

I walk back to my room, disappointed..
