Chapter 162

The sound of growls and sobs filled the air from both Rose and Jessica as they crouched next to Raya who had just taken the bullet in place of her mother. Tears cascaded down their red cheeks as they tried to wake the little girl who had blood all over her clothes.

“Officer, there is a gunshot inside!” the voice of Rodrigo came.

“We should bring her to the hospital!” Rose cried out but Jessica was in too much shock to move or do anything. The cops were finally at the warehouse, and they instantly chased after the kidnappers.

“We have to take her to the hospital right now,” Rose said, Ray slowly took her in his arms as they all edged towards the car.
