Chapter 26

"Father?" Rose called to gain back her father's attention. Travis gave his eldest daughter a charming smile before ruffling her hair softly. 

"Of course I love you guys Rose! That isn't going to happen to our family because I love you guys so much." Travis lied as his daughter hugged him tightly. "Babe, what is that thing you were going to tell me about Claudia again?" Jessica asked her husband while patting their newborn baby softly. 

"I think we should forget about that for now!" Travis said. 

TWO DAYS LATER

It's been two days since Jessica got discharged from the hospital. She was sitting on the couch breastfeeding her baby while the kids played together. Her husband was in the dining area trying to fix their broken shelf before nailing it to the wall. 

Her attention was soon divided when she noticed her second daughter Raya breathing hard while holding onto her chest tightly.
