Chapter 219. Life Must Go On

The months following Michaël's departure were a real hell for me. I no longer had a taste for anything, I only went out to go to school and even there, I didn't feel out of place.

 Not that I was afraid that they would come after me again, no, it's just that I felt like a stranger.
