Chapter 23. Alchemy

The weekend ended with a lot of restraint, at least on my side, because Michaël continued with his low masses and it was frankly starting to annoy me. I knew he was hiding something that had to do with me, I didn't know what it was but it was obvious it wasn't my birthday.

It's still way too far to think about it.

I'm not even sure he knows the date although nothing is really sure with him, I don't know how but he always manages to find out what he wants from me and to surprise me even when I'm on my guards. Not that I don't like it, but it often happens in a young girl's life that she wants to have her secret garden and with Michaël around, it's obvious that I won't be able to.

So that's why if he knows my every secret I want to do the same about him but the level of malice between us is really different because for days he's been hiding his secret from me I couldn't find the slightest clue.
