The sky seemed to have lost its blue for more than six months since Nancy had died. This woman had been a grace to the Clark sisters and now that she thought about it, Jeanne couldn't help but think that maybe she should have spent more time with the woman instead of always running after the money.

With Nancy's death, she had discovered a fact. Humans were worth more than money. But she had to work to ensure a future for her sister, she told herself. On the other, she took full measure of many things in her life.
