Damini’s POV

I had to come to the party with uncle and Sagar as he was already with uncle when I came out of my room. Everyone looked happy and were enjoying the festival of colors.

There were big platters of all colors of dry powdered colors lying on tables. Water guns and colored water tanks were also placed in different areas.

I was always crazy about Holi. But this time, there was no excitement.

I looked around and saw Samar with his friends. I saw that he came to meet Sagar and me. He applied color on Sagar’s face and hugged him.

“Happy Holi, Sahil.” He said. Oh yes, Samar thought, he was Sahil.

“Happy Holi, Samar,” Sagar gave a faint smile to him.”

“Happy Holi, Damini.” Samar said hesitantly. It was a bit awkward moment. We were not feeling comfortable.
