The Lycan King cracked his neck from side to side without delight. The dream walker was already situated where he wanted it. He had dismissed the witch earlier. He didn’t need her for the next part.

All his dealings with his pesky little love were private. His love for her was that large. But she needed to be punished first.

How dare she try to end his life? After all the love he showered on her. After all the protection being aligned with his name provided her, she still had the nerve to run a blade through his heart.
