I felt like my whole world was falling apart. To say I was scared would be an understatement. I was shitless scared; as if someone ripped my heart out of my chest.

Who knew I would start liking the person I took an oath to hate the most?

Now the thought of him being in danger was eating me alive. I wanted to strangle the attackers, but I didn’t even know where the warehouse was. Besides, the guards wouldn’t even let me step out of the house.

As soon as I heard the news, I was quiet for a while before I ran towards the main door to get to the warehouse. But the guards, Keya, Nafeesa, and Newana – all of them stopped me.

Then I was sent to my room after a few minutes. I was getting so restless with every passing second. I didn’t know what to do to kill time.

Keya got to know about the attack because she was talking with Cason over the phone before it started. She heard the sound and Cason informed her.

Cason was talking with his wife and
