Chapter 90. Your Strength
After almost an eight hour flight, we landed in Madrid, Spain. The sun was setting on its horizon by the time we checked in a motel.
I couldn't help but be overwhelmed by the pressure I was feeling. What if we were caught here? Would that be the end of us? I was getting a really bad feeling.
The jingling of keys made me snap out of my trance as I looked at Dylan trying hard to insert the keys into the doorknob.
"Seriously, who uses keys nowadays? Aren't there room cards?" I huffed.
"Well, you can expect that from a hotel, not here," Dylan replied flatly.
"Weren't you the one who said we wouldn't have to struggle? Then why are we at a motel?" I complained.
"Better safe than sorry," he replied and finally managed to open the door.
