Roy's POV III

Days and weeks have passed, but I couldn't bring myself to go to work. I was crying my eyes out. I don't know how I should feel after knowing what happened to her.

I didn't have the strength to face her, but still, I gathered myself and had the courage to confront her. There was no way she would escape from me now. And so, I found myself waiting for her. I was always in front of Carl's building, running out of excuses to meet him. I had hoped that we could still fix everything, but learning the news that they would soon be getting married shattered my hope into pieces.

I didn't know how hopeless I felt in front of Carl. I cried my eyes out again while asking him to give up Ina. I even got down on my knees, hoping it would make him return Ina to me. I manipulated him, made him feel guilty, and made him experience the worst feelings just so I could have Ina back.
