By now we were in Amun's bedroom and he had excused himself to his walk-in closet to change.
I stood in front of his bed and asked myself which side was mine. There was nothing on either bedside table, so you could have said which one he always slept on. It just seemed like an unsolvable puzzle to me as to which side I should seize. It would be rude if I lay in his.
Maybe I was thinking way too much. The nervousness in me most likely caused this stress, which was completely unnecessary.
