Chapter 7

After breakfast, Gwen accompanied me to my room. I had used the elegant excuse that I wanted to rest. I wanted to test my latest theory.

So I waited for Gwen to leave the room and focused on the small palm tree that was in the room. It was in a corner and nestled in a ceramic pot.

I knelt in front of it and concentrated on it. Since I knew some of Earth's element carriers, I knew at least a few things about them.

After closing my eyes, I took a deep breath and placed my hand on the thin trunk. Maybe I felt something.

Yes, there it was.

I felt this plant. The feeling was hard to describe, but I could feel it if I focused on it.

She was fine and had no complaints. The palm tree received neither too much nor too little water. Otherwise, she was satisfied.

I opened my eyes and said quietly, "Hello my friend." At least it felt like a friendship or some kind of connection. She was sending me positive energy, so that was a nice response. I h
