Zoey's POV
During training, I got everything I could out of it. I hit the dark red punching bag again and again. Sweat was running down my forehead, but it didn't bother me much.
The only thing in the foreground was anger. The anger at almost everyone I knew. Okay, maybe excluding Zane. He was pretty much the only one who had nothing to do with the whole drama.
Do you think? Maybe he's more involved than you think.
I shook the thought away and stood ready to fight in front of my invisible enemy again.
“Zoey, good to see you here so early in the morning. And then also on Sundays. "Did your bed get destroyed by a meteorite, or where did this change of heart come from after four years?" As lost as I was in my thoughts, I hadn't noticed Stephen at first.
Shaking my head, I turned to him. "Stress," I said simply. He tilted his head. "Who's that with?" he wanted to know, surprised.
