Chapter 51

They took a while there, until Lucy needed to go back home to fix her hair and nails.

"Are you not going to eat pizza in silence?" Jungso asked when he saw her already in her room with wet hair.

Lucy looked at him, eager to say yes, she really wanted to eat as many slices of pizza as she could. However, besides feeling too full, she remembered what Jaesun had told her. Eating something so heavy wouldn't be a good idea, right?

"I'm sorry, dad, but I think Ryeon and I are going to eat something outside..."

"Alright, but I'll save some slices in case you want to eat tomorrow, okay?"

"Thank you."

"No problem. Do you need anything?"

"Money?" Lucy looked at him and saw the man shrug. Jungso would never let go of that habit. "Thanks, but it's not necessary."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, but I hope you and mom have fun tonight too."
