Lucy liked how Yala expressed herself; she was always straightforward and understood what Lucy was going through because she had been through it herself. She was a good support system, a good friend.
"But I think there's something else in all of this," Yala said, getting closer. Lucy sighed, feeling her short hair being caressed. "Come on, tell me what's filling up your little heart, okay?"
The girl smiled, lowering her eyes and sighed heavily.
"There are so many things..."
"It's a good thing the shop isn't busy," the older woman smiled. She got up again, went to the same bar, and crouched down to open a narrow door in the furniture where she kept her drinks. From there, she took out a large crystal jar filled with assorted chocolates. She placed it on the sofa as she sat down again. "Make yourself comfortable, have some and tell me."
