Chapter 39

Marriage

The day passed until a day before Vega and Alberto’s wedding. At night, Alberto had slept earlier than the hour he usually does because he didn’t want to wake up late the next day.

The next day, he had to leave the house at five to get ready at Vega’s house. Invitation cards were distributed a few days earlier.

Meanwhile, Vega had not been able to sleep because she was haunted by her fear. Imaginations of divorce, infidelity, and domestic violence appeared in Vega’s brain.

She was very afraid that later Alberto would turn into a very bad person for her, like a demon lord. She knows that there are still faithful humans in the world.

But she was afraid that Alberto would be a terrible person to her because he was having an affair with another woman. She didn’t know for sure which woman would be Alberto’s mistress later.

It could be Lorena or some other woman. But in her imagination, Lorena would be his mistress.
