Alex

I’m all ready for the ball with an hour to spare, so I decide to make my way down to the lounge and wait for the guys there. Hopefully, someone will already be there, because as soon as I’m on my own I think about what happened today with Emma and I feel the same anger and heartache every time.

“Hey Alex, you’re ready early?” To my absolute relief, Theo is already here.

“Hey Theo, I could say the same to you, how long have you been down here?” he stands and pours us both a whiskey.

“Yeah, the ladies are using my room to finish getting ready, so I wanted to be out before they arrived. I’ve been down here about an hour so thank you for turning up early and saving my sanity,” he hands me my whisky before he sits back down.

“Thanks, brother, ha-ha yeah I don’t blame you. I would have done the same, you should have come to my room.”

“Haha, I’ll bear that in mind for next time.”
