Chapter 68. A Twist of Fate

Ashley held Dianna’s hands and apologized. She swallowed her pride for her unborn child’s sake. Thinking about their bad relationship would affect her pregnancy, and that was the real reason why Ashley wanted to be friends with Dianna.

It wasn’t merely because of an evil plan. If she would have to kneel, she was willing to do it as long as Dianna accepts it.

“Please, Dianna. Let’s forget the past and live happily as friends.” Ashley spoke with a hope in her chest.

Sincerity showed into her eyes. It wasn’t part of her lies and Dianna knew it was pure.

To end this lousy drama, Dianna took a deep breath. Then she looked away from Ashley’s face.

She answered, “Yes! Let’s… let’s forget the past and be friends.”

A naughty smile showed in Ashley’s face.

“Really? Is that true?”

“Yes,” said Dianna without blinking an eye.

However, Ashley intentionally pushed herself backward and looked like someone pushed her into the ground. She scoffed
