Chapter 84. A Sweet Reconciliation

The next morning, Klaud woke up earlier than usual. He has decided to make up with Ashley, despite everything that happened last night. He cared for the baby’s health, nothing more than an affection for its mother.

Before making a healthy breakfast, Klaud went into a quick workout. He had missed a couple of times because of his hectic schedule.

After a thirty minutes workout, he went straight into Ashley’s room and checked if she was still sleeping.

As soon as he entered inside, he saw the blanket on the floor. He couldn’t believe how messy she sleeps in a king-size bed. Then he shook his head and picked the blanket from the ground and covered it around Ashley’s body.

He gasped, caressing her baby bump.

“I’m sorry, little human being. Your mom is a mess, am I right?” Klaud asked and talked to the baby.

He knew no one would answer, yet he continued and treated it like his own. Klaud didn’t want to hurt and hate the baby knowing it’s truly innocent.
