It took them almost thirty minutes to reach a bungalow-type house. It has a wide lawn and flowering plants to the side.
Benedict couldn’t hide his nervousness upon reaching the place. Deep inside, he was also feeling a bit of jealousy and pain.
“We’ve been renting this place for almost two years now,” Hadley stated as he held Benedict’s hand. Although it feels weird knowing he already has a husband, he didn’t let go of it. “Come on,” she invited.
A boy then comes out, led by his nanny.
“Mommy!” The child happily screamed as he saw Hadley. He then ran towards her.
He stopped walking as he looked closely at the child. He should feel bad because it is a sign that he really needs to end all his feelings for Hadley. But while looking at him, he felt like a soft hand touched his heart. He couldn’t even take his sight away from the boy. That was until he realized something…
