Chapter 48. Go Back to Him

He glowered out in a warning, his jaw clenching.

“Do it, and have your people, whom you love so much, bear the consequences!” He snarled, his breathing labored.

I stopped and shook my head at him, my lips curled in a tight smirk.

“No. I will get my pack ownership and split the pack. I will have my people back!” Jasper let out a mocking laugh, and I gave him a look as if he had lost it.

“Really? You wish?” He scorned, raising his brow tauntingly.

“I would like to see you try. Do you think you’ll get it? No, Nina, they would never give it to you,” his words hit me hard, wiping the smile off my face.

“Stop being delusional. You severed the bond; everyone knows you’re a cheat,” I snarled back, and his smile deepened.

“And I am here to fix the bond,”

“I don’t fucking want you!” I spat.

“You want him,” his face hardened again.

I threw him a wide smile.

“At least he is better than you,” I tackled, and a dark shadow fell over
