Tiptoeing gingerly across the room, Isabel cautiously approached the sofa where Eric slept on. Enchanted by the flawless beauty of his skin, she yearned to caress his flesh, but a single thought held her back.

She feared that even the slightest disturbance could rouse him from his peaceful sleep or, her mother may bash in and find her caressing a man who wasn’t even her partner.

The stillness was abruptly shattered by the sound of her phone ringing from the kitchen. Dashing to retrieve the phone, Isabel answered the call, immediately recognizing her mother’s familiar voice.

“Hi, Mom. Where are you?” Isabel inquired.

“I just left the airport, darling,” her mother replied. “Would you like me to pick anything up on my way?” She offered.

“Sire! I would have preferred a sandwich but that might take your time. But not to worry, Mom. I’d love some chocolate cakes. Thank you!” Isabel replied.
