“Cherry,” he said again.

I quickly flicked the light switch on, and a few moments later, I noticed him lying and curled up on a blanket, so I quickly adjusted the air-conditioner.

“Rex, what happened?” I asked, lightly caressing his forehead. “You have a fever!”
