Chapter 67
Visit Someone
I sighed at the last thing he said. I adjusted my seat to fight the tension I was feeling.
“So, what is your answer?” He tilted his head to look me in the eyes.
“Mr. Galvez—” I cut him off, not wanting to be rude if I said I didn’t like him. I don’t want him to rely on nothing because I know the feeling of hoping for something impossible, so as much as possible, and I want to be honest with him.
“Mr. Galvez, I don’t want to take advantage of your kindness, but maybe it’s better if we just stayed as friends.” I deeply sighed and sheared to avoid the conversation.
He didn’t answer at first. He stared at me for a while, so I was the first to look down.
“I got it,” he said.
I pursed my lips to stop speaking. I want to apologize because I know I hurt him, but when I look him in the eyes, it seems like I just didn’t say anything to him.
