Chapter 70
While my lost son, Cody was in distress and looking for a way to come out from the situation he had found himself in, he bent down and prayed, and by a very slim chance, I happened to be passing by in the place that he was praying.
And, then I stopped as I saw the disappointment in his face, and the fact that he looked exactly like me.
“Cody!” I yelled his name. “You are my son. You are my long lost son.”
Cody was surprised when I ran towards his direction and gave him a big hug. He wasn’t expecting to see me. He wasn’t expecting me to be anywhere near him at all because he thought he had a real mother and I wasn’t the one.
As we embraced, Cody’s expression shifted from one of shock to a mixture of confusion and disbelief. “Wait, what? How can you be my mother?” he stammered, his eyes still wide with astonishment. “I thought I had a real mother.”
