Panic

Her time was running low she couldn't continue with the lies of having to look for her daughter eventually Aurora would tell the Alpha and if the two of them had to look into the matter she just might bid her taste for revenge goodbye.

And if she hurt Aurora now it might raise suspicions because last night she had called Angela who had been eavesdropping on the couple's discussion and when the news came back that Aurora had told the Alpha there was no way she would hurt the Luna just yet but she was panicky.

If they didn't want to show how worried about the newest development they had about her then they did it quite well as they made sure to make the entire situation subtle and not disturbed, Mason came downstairs and met her and he didn't behave as though there was something wrong.
