“Leah… It’s so cold…”

Dominik’s groaning voice awakened me. Slightly lazy, I opened my eyes and saw Dominik, who was currently shivering with a cold. 

He still closed his eyes while his hands gripped the blanket peeled for him, trying to cover his entire body.

As I watched Dominik groan in pain like that, I felt bad inside since what he was feeling now was part of my foolishness last night. 

I quickly opened my eyes and got up from my bed before I checked his forehead, comparing it with mine. 

“It seems like he has a fever.” I muttered while my eyes were still on his face, which seemed to try to endure the pain in his body.

“Hmm... It hurts...” he groaned, pulling my hand towards him and hugging me as if I were an extra blanket to him.

I let him do it while my hand took his smartphone and turned off the song he had been playing all night.

Then I put it back on the nightstand and stroked his hair slowly.
