In the evening, I returned to check his temperature with a thermometer after I finished compressing his body and fed him dinner mixed with fever-reducing medicine.

Finally, his fever had really gone down.
I breathed a sigh of relief to see the look on his face that was not as pale as this morning and put the thermometer on the nightstand while watching him, who was now asleep because of the effect of the fever-reducing medicine that I gave him earlier.
With careful steps, I took the pot filled with the towel and water I had used to compress his body. I went to the bathroom to expel the water from it.
I put the wet towel in the bathroom and stepped out of the bathroom into the kitchen to wash it and return it to the kitchen shelf.
Then I walked to the bathroom and took off my dirty clothes to wash them with the towel in the washing machine.
