Chapter 101. The Final Race
With support from police chief Jony, the next day, early in the morning, excavators and policemen gathered at the designated location, where a terrible fire occurred thirty years ago.
Michael stood next to the scene and supervised the digging process. His face became darker and darker as he saw more and more human bones piled up.
In his life as a police officer, this was the most cruel case he had ever participated in and had ever known. William is a devil, not human.
“I'm listening.” Michael spoke up as soon as he picked up the phone.
“Inspection notices have been sent to production facilities within the city and surrounding areas.” Bevis's voice rang out on the other end of the phone.
“Good. Just prepare yourself mentally.”
After speaking, Michael immediately hung up the phone and approached the scene to observe. Among those shattered skeletons, there were also the skeletons of children.
