Chapter 69. Warm Heart
“Harvey.” Lucasta burst into tears.
Harvey just shook his head slightly, bent down, picked her up, and left before William's second group of bodyguards ran to support their comrades.
He felt himself becoming more and more like Samson, losing the cold, emotionless nature characteristic of vampires.
He advised Samson to let go of Lucasta, but he could not bear to leave her alone.
