In the living room, Caden was seated on a couch, with Naomi and Jackson on the other couch across from them. Cherry was seated on a comfortable armchair in the corner, her head bowed.

Gladys walked out of the passageway, sitting beside Caden who pecked her forehead.

"Where is Elijah?" He whispered.

"He's with his grandma," Gladys replied. Caden rested his hand on the couch headrest, his fingertips gently grazing the fabric of Gladys' shirt as she sat beside him. A moment of comfortable silence hung in the air between them but was interrupted by Pascal entering the living room.

"I'm sorry I'm late." He apologized as he stood in the middle of the room. "Welcome back Mr. Morrow." He greeted Caden who replied with a smile.

"So, you asked us to gather here, that you've got a plan?" Naomi asked, taking a glimpse at Cherry who hadn't slept the previous day. "About saving her daughter, and catching Marshal." She adds glancing back at Pascal.
