Chapter 127. Game Over

Cherry was being led by the guy whom she still couldn't recognize, but her thoughts already run crazy that the person was Pascal.

The man stopped on his track, urging her to enter a compound that was filled with leaves on the ground. The compound seemed like it's been years since anyone stepped inside it.

As she entered fearfully with the baby who was awake already, she saw Mrs. Janelle walking out of the wooden house in the compound.

Cherry sniffed when she got to see her eleven-year-old daughter, who seemed to look exhausted and must have shed a lot of tears. Her daughter seemed to have lost weight and Cherry couldn't help but burst out crying, about walking to take her daughter from Mrs. Janelle when the man stopped her with a word. "No!".

She glanced confusingly at him. "What? Why?" She almost stuttered.

"The baby first." As the man said those words, Cherry started realizing perhaps, the man wasn't Pascal or Pascal hadn't betrayed them as she gave the baby
