Chapter 38. The CEO Had a Thing with his Female Employee

Gladys yawn as she breathed out.

It was a new day, she no longer have to bother to go to work for two weeks because she was on suspension thanks to her smart mouth for challenging her CEO. And a big thanks to Nicole for making her overbearing boss not fire her.

Gladys clamber out of her bed and she walked to the bathroom.

She took her toothbrush and applied toothpaste on it as she began brushing.

Wait. Did Naomi hear her cuss at Caden?

She better not. Gladys thought as she turn on the faucet rinsing the toothbrush. She dropped it on the toothbrush holder set as she rinse her face and mouth.

Gladys walked out of the bathroom to her bedroom and the living room.

She was welcomed by the nose-pleasing aroma of bacon and she began sniffing until she reached the kitchen.

"Why aren't you prepared for work yet?" Mrs. Morgan asked putting three slices of bacon on a plate.

"I'm on a break." Gladys lied as she take a cutlery.

"Break? For how
