"I'm sorry for what he did." Gladys apologized to Jackson who smiled a little as he took his seat on the bar chair in his dad club.

"It's okay Gladys, I can do this much, for you at least," Jackson said.

Some seconds later, she was back with a first aid kit as she opened it bringing out a cotton wool.

"Why is your boss like that? Is he obsessed with you?" Jackson asked with a little touch of humor and Gladys scoffed at him.

"You don't have to worry about me and him," Gladys replied and she began treating the cut on his nose.

"You mean I should just act like nothing happened? Even when he is acting like a jerk." Jackson says again.

"Please, Jack. Let's treat your cuts first." Gladys mentioned, not interested in telling him any details about her and Caden. But Jackson was relentless.
