Jennifer’s POV
“I’m not joking, I fucking saw him! I swear to God!” I exclaimed while explaining everything to Samantha and her girlfriend who are both doing something in the kitchen.
“Perhaps that was his Doppelganger,” Samantha wondered, shrugging off her shoulders. I snatched the pillow and threw it at her.
“Please stop throwing pillows into my face!” she stated angrily, and I laughed.
“But what if it was him? What if he had been sent here to do something, or perhaps Gerald texted him?” I rambled.
Marina let out a deep sigh of relief. “Ask Gerald. He will know the answer,” she murmured and I rubbed my neck anxiously.
