Chapter 97. Happiest Birthday

Jennifer’s POV

A few weeks have passed and I already left the hospital just a couple days ago with Bob. The doctor recommended to me that I should rest because the wound on my stomach from the last incident was still there.

I asked the doctor if I could do archery by now and make practice but he always answers me the same. He wants me to rest and not to move so much because my wound can open anytime if I move too much and that’s why I’m resting right now.

Bob told me to sit on the bed while taking care of everything. I always told him that I can do it for myself but he always carried me to the bed and insisted on taking care of me.

I already knew that I wouldn’t win from him with arrangements so I just decided to let him do those things.

Bob walked towards me while he was holding our food. I invited him to watch a movie together since he had already finished doing his paperwork in his office. He decided to leave early so that he can spend his fre
