Chapter 104. Connection with Mafia

Jennifer’s POV

I immediately called Bob right after I read those letters. I don’t want to hide this from him, I know that this would help us to find Ivankov. But Bob didn’t pick up his phone again so I called Gerald. After a few minutes of waiting, Bob came running into the apartment with Gerald.

I handed him the letter and he read it and he sent Gerald back to the warehouse to get checked on the fingerprint that used to write in the letters. He also ordered him to check all the security cameras around the apartment to see if we can see the face of that person.

“Hey, are you okay? Did something happen!” He asked worriedly while hugging me.

“Yeah, I’m fine. I’m just wondering who D is?” I asked and wondered if he knew that initially.

“I don’t know, I’m still thinking too. But that person is on our side from what I’ve read. I just hope that she’s not tricking us,” he said.

“Let’s go, love. It’s already late at night and we need some rest.”
