"Every member of our pack has to train harder than before. We all know that vampires are our natural enemies, and they are stronger and faster than us,” Xander said. They were in their conference room, and Chassy, with her beta and gamma, came back from her dad’s diner.

“How do you suggest we do that?” Alpha Neil asked. He had lowered his arrogance after hearing what Chassy and Xander said the other day, and he knew that the two had a point. He wanted the alliance more than anyone else because many of his pack members were not combatants, and he was willing to do everything just to help them get strong.

“As an allied pack, I suggest forming a squad,” he answered.

”We’re listening,” the other alpha said, and as Xander looked around, everyone was waiting for him to continue, even Chassy.
