Third Person

"Report," Chassy said. They were in Xander’s office the following day after their encounter with the vampires. She and Xander let them rest first and recuperate, especially the tracker who had been held captive since they engaged in a fight.

“Alpha,” Nixon said. “We spread out because it came to our knowledge that a group of vampires would gather in a particular bar.”

“For what purpose?” Xander asked.

“That’s what we wanted to know,” Jack answered.

“Did you see any vampires gathering?” Chassy asked.

“Yes, Alpha,” Nixon responded. “But they were just there," he added.

“Why aren’t they allowed to engage in a fight, Luna?” Jack asked Chassy.

“It’s not that we are not allowed,” Nixon rebutted.

“Enough!” Chassy stopped him before she looked at Jack while Xander held her hand to calm her. “It’s not that they are not allowed to fight. I want them to use their heads other than their fists," she added.
