Chapter 6

Miranda's eyes slowly fluttered open as she carefully glanced around the room, her mind racing with thoughts and questions. "What..." She mumbled, shaking herself awake as she slowly sat up on the bed. As soon as she turned the other way, she instantly covered her eyes with her hands, the sunlight pouring in from the open windows almost blinding her.

"Shit..." She mumbled under her breath, her eyes slowly adjusting to the bright light as she watched how the sun rays gently danced across the bedroom's floor. "What even happened..." She mumbled once more, her eyes slowly drifting to her completely naked body. "Crap..." She cursed under her breath, rubbing her temples in a poor attempt to calm the throbbing pain in her head.
