I have faced many terrifying things in this life.

has ever prepared me for a pregnant, hormonal Noelle.

Her baby bump had just started to show, and with it came her moods. One moment, she was all sunshine while wrapping her arms around me and telling me I was the best husband in the world. The next?

It started off simple enough. Noelle had been craving something sweet, and like the devoted husband that I am, I made sure she had the best. I ordered the richest, most decadent chocolate cake I could find and set it in front of her with full confidence that I had just won the title of
