Dr. Everett exhaled heavily, setting down his medical bag. “I’ll need space to work. Step aside, Mr. DeLuca.”

Marco didn’t move. He didn’t even acknowledge the request. His eyes remained fixed on Grace, as if willing her to wake up just by holding her hand.
