So, when dinner was over and we went back to the living room until the food settled down and we could eat dessert, I was very happy and anxious. Flynn was always by my side, with one of his arms on my shoulder, while talking nonchalantly with Gildeon and Beatrice. I spent much of that moment observing his expressions, wanting to write down every spontaneous gesture and every curve of his features. Not that I still needed that for my book. I had already advanced much of the work, and now I was just reviewing some scenes before sending the manuscript to Beatrice's editor.
