“Welcome my lovely and brave damsels. It’s so nice to see you all again,” The Queen said with a big smile, stepping off the stairs with the sorceress by her side.

“I’m sorry about the delay. Your Alpha had an emergency and couldn’t welcome you angels himself. But don’t worry, he’ll be present during the games today,” she said, pleasing the girls.

Where I stood watching, I noticed how Sorceress Thelma kept lowering down to touch her knees and rising again to stand straight.

“Are you seeing this?” I asked Derby while keeping my attention on the elderly woman.

“The sorceress is acting strange. I think she’s… weak,” I observed when she repeated her brief squat, patting the Queen from behind.
